Namita Gandhi, PhD, is an immunologist, scientist, children’s book author, and global advocate for STEM education. For her picture book series, Immune Heroes, Namita uses engaging storytelling to share the wonders of immunology and science with children. Inspired by her nieces and nephew’s questions about her professional work, Namita’s goal is to educate children about the remarkable immune system and how it heals and protects our bodies and well-being.
